Sydney Jones is a freelance artist from Los Angeles, CA with experience in mixed media works. Best known for her portraits, she is particularly versed in the medium of pencil, graphite, and acrylic paint. Self-taught, Jones’s interest in the arts was sparked at the young age of merely seven years old. From there on, she became engulfed with intrigue and set off in the exploration of her artistic capabilities.

 

As a visual artist, Sydney is inspired by the human form in which she utilizes as a vessel to manifest reflections of society through figures. “The world in which we were raised, is often reflected in self,” she says. By means of her methods, Sydney draws correlations between our very being and the essence of our surroundings.
